Aramid UD
Aramid UD is known for its ability to maintain strength at high temperatures and its excellent corrosion resistance, which makes it particularly advantageous in extreme environments. Additionally, Aramid UD excels in impact
resistance, making it the preferred material for soft body armor、dual-resistant vest(stab-&bullet-resistant) and hard-armor plate.
Product Specifications:
UHMWPE UD
UHMWPE UD offers exceptional strength and
lightweight properties due to its fiber characteristics, making it lighter than Aramid UD in ballistic solutions. This reduces the overall weight burden on the wearer while maintaining high strength. This UD also has corrosion resistance, acid and alkali resistance, UV protection, immersion resistance, and moisture resistance. It is widely used in the production of body armor, ballistic inserts, helmets, shields, and other ballistic products.
Both of the above UD materials have unique features and advantages. It is recommended to choose the appropriate material based on the specific application requirements.
Our Product:
1.Aramid UD Fabric, Laminated
Manufacturing Process:
The product is produced using a continuous production line, unlike most domestic competitors that use a non-continuous production line. This method is highly efficient and saves material costs for downstream customers.we processes UD fabric using imported or domestic aramid fibers
(selectable according to customer requirements) and environment-friendly special matrixes. During the processing, the fiber strength loss is minimal. Then, it is laminated with four plies of UD fabric, cross-plied in 0°/90°/0°/90 configuration.
1. Model: G4T
Product Structure: 4-ply in 0°/90°/0°/90° ,laminated
Fiber: Teijin Twaron 2020 2200dtex
Areal Density: 230±5 g/㎡
Width: ≤160cm
Length: ≥100 m Continuous
Test Data for 9mm V50: 5.3kg/m²(m/s)>530
Test for .44: The deformation is less than or equal to 37mm for 25 layers.
This model uses a relatively hard matrix, which performs a less deformation effect during testing.
2. Model: G4TS
Product Structure: 4-ply in 0°/90°/0°/90° ,laminated
Fiber: Teijin Twaron 2020 2200dtex
Areal Density: 230±5 g/㎡
Width: ≤160cm
Length: ≥100 m Continuous
Test Data for 9mm V50: 5.3kg/m²(m/s)>530
Test for .44: The deformation is less than or equal to 37mm for 26 layers.
This model uses a relatively soft matrix, making the UD product more comfortable when applied in soft ballistic vests.
3. Model: G2T
Product Structure: 2-ply in 0°/90° ,laminated
Fiber: Teijin Twaron 2020 2200dtex
Areal Density: 195±5 g/㎡
Width: ≤160cm
Length: ≥100 m Continuous
Test for .44: 29 layers
This model uses a relatively hard matrix, which performs a less deformation effect during testing.
4. Model: G2TS
Product Structure: 2-ply in 0°/90° ,laminated
Fiber: Teijin Twaron 2020 2200dtex
Areal Density: 195±5 g/㎡
Width: ≤160cm
Length: ≥100 m Continuous
Test for .44: 30 layers
This model uses a relatively soft matrix, making the UD product more comfortable when applied in soft ballistic vests.
